What got you started in bushcraft? How long ago? Tell us the start of your journey.
I guess I really owe my interest in the outdoors to my family, my grandad used to shoot air pistols and catapults with me, taught me to ride and used to take me down the river. My dad used to take me on long rides around the public footpaths around a local farm and my mum used to take me to the local country parks for walks with the dogs. As I grew up riding was the only time I really spent in the woods.
My friend group changed and I was taught to fish and hunt and from there I learnt on my own using Facebook groups and books to further my learnings. Eventually I made a Facebook group with the soul purpose of bringing people together to pick up as much knowledge as I could. Eventually with so much infighting from the group I left and started a fresh.
Now all I want to do is be in the woods, fields or on the coast.
