A month before we went into lockdown I bought a new sofa, I still had the old corner sofa and chair in the garden.

When we first went into lockdown, I wasn’t really sure what was going on or whether or not I could work.

So I stopped working until I knew for sure.

I started clearing out the shed, I moved the decking down to the bottom of the garden and I then took the shed down and rebuilt it so that it fit in the garden better.

I also started to work through all my bushcraft and hunting equipment throwing what was not needed.

This amounted to a pretty big pile on the driveway.

Then a week was up and my customers were telling me they were going to find a new gardener. So I went back to work. I spent time at work and time at home that was it. I was too tired after work to get the house sorted.

It was getting me down, this huge pile of shit on the drive an unfinished shed and I didn’t know where to start.

We have finally managed to get a skip. I still have some wood to go. I filled the skip within two hours.

I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and I know where I’m going with the garden. Things are looking up now.
